In conversation with Venus Bhasin the co-founders of Wize Computing Academy.

This week we got the privilege to meet Venus Bhasin, the co-founders of Wize Computing Academy.Wize Computing Academy believes that “learning by doing” is the best way to learn coding and building programs. Thru their unique program, kids learn key problem-solving and project-design skills that are not only helpful in computing but life in general.

Venus Anand is co-founder and lead instructor at Wize Computing Academy, she has over 18 years of extensive experience in the IT industry building and testing software. During her career, she saw a dire need for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) programs that focus on the application of knowledge kids learn at school. She teaches students and educators at various schools to ensure that Wize Computing Academy students are prepared for the digital age. Prior to Wize, Venus led complex, enterprise-wide integration projects at Bank of America.

Wize will be hosting an online Scratch Coding Competition for our learners and giving them a chance to showcase their coding skills. Admission to the competition is FREE.

Learners submit their projects online by sharing the project link by noon on Aug 27th.

The topic for Coding: "My Quarantine Summer 2020" in MIT Scratch Deadline for sharing the project: August 27th, 2020 by noon

How to share the project? Learners mark the project as shared Scratch and submit the project id via email @ info@wizeacademy.com

Each project also includes a 3 min video giving an overview of their project and how they coded it.

Age groups 6 - 8 years old 9 - 13 years old

How to submit the project presentations?
